Japan Day 4

RAIN! Thankfully this is the first time it's happened. Weather before was cold and sometimes cloudy, but acceptable. So in the rain we drove to Fushimi Inari Shinto Shrine. Wow, even in the rain it's a stunner.
Thats Cypress bark thatching on the roof.
Ten thousand torii gates, all wishing for good fortune. (Torii is Japanese for bird perch😊)
After leaving we had lunch in a restaurant near the train station, then caught I bullet train for Tokyo. Fast, smooth, why don't we have this in the states?
Tokyo is colder than Kyoto, but the view from my room makes up for that.
